Just 8 miles northeast of downtown Traverse City in nearby Acme, the Music House is a charming 100 year-old dairy barn that now houses one-of-a-kind collections of rare antique automated music-making machines. All of these fascinating old time instruments play a huge array of toe-tapping tunes and are tastefully displayed in turn-of-the-century settings.

The Music House can comfortably seat evening groups of up to 60 in the main museum with theatre style seating of 90 and standing capacity of over 100. Outside events are welcomed, utilizing tents and portable restrooms, with ample parking.
